I really like CNC machining. It can take really time consuming projects and cut them down drastically. It would be cool to own my own one of these days.

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Ie. I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I'd post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Cheers

Thank you so much for sharing this, it was indeed a good read and helpful. I would like to add that honing is a manufacturing process that produces a precision surface on a workpiece by scrubbing an abrasive stone against it along a controlled path. Honing is primarily used to improve the geometric form of a surface, but many also improve surface texture. Honing is classified as an abrasive machining manufacturing process. In Abrasive machining processes, material is cut away from the workpiece using abrasive grains. In the case of honing, the grains are bound together with an adhesive to form a honing stone. is this the first award that the EAFIT group has received?

This machine won no awards, mainly because it was a private project without university staff involvement. only students. However the 2012-2016 solar car project did earn e number of awards including the top national award on engineering.
